To put it mildly the worst part about this game, other than the obscene rake (10% up to $15!), was the fact that it had a nightly lifespan of only 2-3hrs max. ![]() ![]() The good news was that lightning did strike, in the form of my arrival at this game. When I arrived at the casino I come to find out there is one poker table in a pretty large casino, and it is, as I had anticipated, electronic “lightning poker”. Nevertheless I entered the “Casino Royale” onboard for my first session well none other than the first night on board, Saturday August 1st. Not only had I heard horror stories about the rake, but to me I’ve always felt players make worse decisions which actual chips in their hands then when a screen allows folding at the push of the button. First off, I have to admit I entered this experience with a moderately skeptical mind frame. Martin, which actually had 14 casinos spread across the small island. the islands were very nice and even included a stop at St. ![]() drinks were overpriced IMO with the cheapest alcohol possibility available sitting just over $5 a pop very friendly and personable staff on board I arrived today back home in Miami, FL after a 7day cruise on RC’s Liberty of the Seas.īefore I get into the poker here are some other trip notes. ![]()
